DR. CIARA AGEE
Dr. Agee has been a patient of Dr. Mary Smith since she was a child and shadowed her in college before entering dental school. Dr. Smith quickly became her mentor and Dr. Agee noticed her passion for the profession, which ultimately became one of the reasons she decided to pursue dentistry. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry with her dental degree and returned to Spokane to begin serving her local community. Now Dr. Agee has set out to create a warm and welcoming environment for her patients so she can serve them with humility, compassion, and empathy. Her goal is to uphold and advance the standards of oral healthcare by providing excellent, individualized care at a patient-centered office that is accessible to all patients.
Passionate about volunteering, Dr. Agee has spent much of her time giving back to her local areas through her church and various outreach programs. During her time in Indianapolis she volunteered with Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, a student outreach clinic, and a Pediatric Dentistry Outreach Clinic in the Amish community. Each of these programs allowed her to provide underserved populations with meals, clothing, and hygiene items, and donated dental care. In addition, she participated in a program with Head Start which allowed her to teach dental hygiene education to children aged 3 – 5 years.
Outside of the office Dr. Agee enjoys spending time in the great outdoors and can be found hiking, camping, or traveling to new places. When she isn’t out exploring the world you can find her painting, spending time with her family, or puttering around her garden. Another favorite pastime of Dr. Agee’s is reading, and she can read upwards of 100 books a year; be sure to ask what book is her favorite when you meet her!
